For the first prompt, I would say I have had an overall positive experience using social media, specifically Instagram for my Personal Learning Network. I am able to interact with fellow musicians, to learn and compare experiences with them as well as create bonds that foster lifelong friendships. This platform is also beneficial because it allows me to find musically inclined people and prospective students I can interact with in a private teaching settingnces from all over the world.
I would say my experienc. I can also utililize social media to develop a more well rounded knowledge base with experiee in schools was mostly considered digitally rich, if anything, it wasn't until high school that I felt most of my classes outside of music were digitally poor.I have always despite personal economic reasons had access to at least the basics for technology whether it be schools or libraries so I have never felt underprepared digitally. The only thing I wish I had been better equipped to do is type, I feel that especially in this day and age a typing class should be factored in to curriculim.
I think I would find myself inviting tools like Powerpoint or some sort of joint pdf editor in my use of technology in classrooms, i feel that if people can see several opinions of the same subjects or material it better helps students understand or develop thoughts on curriculim. I also feel that i would to the best of my ability attempt to minimalize the use of technology in the classrooms because in most cases I find it hinders learning.
