 Prompt #1

Teacher's public pages typically are more reserved but still have the nessacary information for students and parents alike. From the examples I have looked at along with my own experience as a student, teachers websites typically have info about what they teach, where they teach, their qualifacations and their course. While this a general overview there are also things teachers may include such as personal details and "get to know me sections". This is a good range for terachersd to reside in, we do not typically need overbearing loads of info into a website facing public, course info can be found in things like course descriptions and syllabi. This is also a good metric of how to keepm students safe, there is not classroom information visible, no student info, etc. overall the info is informative but well maintained.

Since culinary is another creative pursuit I will still stand by not using AI for anything. ever. but I will create and develop a new and more expansive PLN as well as integrate many members from my old PLN into said pursuits, because most of my musician connections also are passionate cooks.

Blog Post #1       For this class I am hoping to learn how to better utilize technology to help my students. I want for technology to become a tool to be used when needed but not a central part of how I teach. Technology is an increasingly large part of the classroom and though I feel knowledgeable about technology, I do not want it to overshadow my teaching or my students learning. I also hope to gain tools I have not yet heard of to increase my knowledge within the sphere of classroom technology.  I have used apps and pdf file viewing inside the classroom before such as using apps that slow down music as well as help mark spot in music that causes issues, I have used pdf viewers to view and showcase sheet music. As well as I have used photo editing software and poster making software to develop flyers and activities in the classroom in both a student and teacher perspective. As a student I have used tools such as Canvas and Teams to submit and work on assignme...

For the first prompt, I would say I have had an overall positive experience using social media, specifically Instagram for my Personal Learning Network. I am able to interact with fellow musicians, to learn and compare experiences with them as well as create bonds that foster lifelong friendships. This platform is also beneficial because it allows me to find musically inclined people and prospective students I can interact with in a private teaching settingnces from all over the world.  I would say my experienc. I can also utililize social media to develop a more well rounded knowledge base with experiee in schools was mostly considered digitally rich, if anything, it wasn't until high school that I felt most of my classes outside of music were digitally poor.I have always despite personal economic reasons had access to at least the basics for technology whether it be schools or libraries so I have never felt underprepared digitally. The only thing I wish I had been better eq...
